Ambulance helicopter called to Princes Freeway collision at Darnum

AN air ambulance helicopter has been called to a collision on the Princes Freeway at Darnum.

UPDATE (5.30PM): Freeway now reopened to eastbound traffic.

A VicRoads spokesperson has told The Warragul Citizen both eastbound lanes of the freeway have been closed to allow the helicopter to land.

The spokesperson said police have advised the crash occurred on the freeway near Darnum-Shady Creek Road.

Emergency services are presently onsite and are redirecting traffic.
