Every year the group Art Teacher’s Art, made up of West Gippsland at teachers, holds a showcase of the best VCE Art and VCE Studio Art from Secondary Schools in the Baw Baw Shire.

ECHO, ECHO, ECHO 2013 opened on Thursday 31 October at the Bradley Hall Gallery in Drouin West and features the art of VCE students from Chairo Christian, Marist-Sion College, Neerim District Secondary, St Paul’s Anglican Grammar, Trafalgar High School and Warragul Regional College.

Gippsland Centre for Art and Design director Rodney Forbes opened the show and congratulated the secondary school teachers on their networking and putting in the effort needed to mount such a large display of student art.
Over 80 works by local students are hung among the antique furniture at Bradely Hall. All works are considered by their teachers to be the best examples for their class.
A wide range of art forms are showcased including photography, sculpture, drawing and painting.

The exhibition is highly recommended to younger secondary students who are considering Art or Studio Art as a VCE subject.
ECHO, ECHO, ECHO 2013 will run till November 17 2013, open on weekends 11am to 5pm at Bradely Hall Gallery, 4 Old Telegraph Road West, Drouin West.
