Disability Advisory Committee seeks new members

THE BAW Baw Shire Council is accepting applications from community members to become a part of its Disability Advisory Committee.

The Disability Advisory Committee advises the Baw Baw Shire Council on how to deal with the issues facing disabled people in the community.

The council is looking for people with appropriate involvement and knowledge of issues affecting disabled people.

People aware of the hardships and day-to-day life of a disabled person or who are disabled themselves are strongly encouraged to apply.

Expressions of interest will be accepted until Friday 12 June.

Applications must be submitted by completing the expression of interest form on the council website, bawbawshire.vic.gov.au or by emailing the council’s rural access officer Elke Timm at elke.timm@bawbawshire.vic.gov.au.
