Labertouche Road bridge closed until 11 December

THE LABERTOUCHE Road bridge will likely be closed until 11 December for upgrades.

Works on the bridge over the Tarago River commenced on 6 October, and the estimated reopening date is dependant on good weather.

The Baw Baw Shire Council has advised detour routes include Fisher Road to the west or Morrison Road-Middleton Road to the east of Labertouche Road.

The bridge has been operating as a single lane road with temporary traffic lights and a 40kmph speed limit for some time.
