A Victoria Police spokesperson told The Warragul Citizen emergency services were called to a paddock on Main South Road at around midday to find the light aircraft.

Police believe the aircraft’s blades hit the ground, causing it to tip over.

The 55-year-old man was the only occupant of the aircraft.
