SERVICES will be held across Baw Baw to commemorate Remembrance Day next week.

Wreath laying services will be held in Darnum, Drouin, Longwarray, Neerim South, Noojee, Trafalgar and Warragul at 11am on Wednesday 11 November, as well as at Thorpdale an hour later.

A service will also be held at Fairview Homes in Warragul at 2pm.
Australians have been asked to observe one minute of silence at 11am, in honour of the soldiers who fought and died representing Australia.
The Baw Baw Shire Council will lay wreaths at memorials in Erica, Hill End, Jindivick, Narracan East, Neerim, Neerim East, Neerim North, Walhalla, Willow Grove and Yarragon.
All returned soldiers, service personnel and citizens have been invited to assemble at the respective memorials and lay wreaths.

In Warragul, Victoria Street and Smith Street between Palmerston Street and Queen Street will be closed between 10.15 and 11.20am for the ceremony.
