Train collides with trailer at Trafalgar

A TRAIN collided with a trailer containing fertiliser as it passed through Trafalgar toward Moe this evening.

UPDATE: No injuries reported after train and trailer smash

Passengers told The Warragul Citizen they could smell diesel fuel after the collision, however the source of the smell is unconfirmed.

The train came to a sudden stop and passengers are being advised to stay onboard until  authorities assist them to disembark.

Buses will take passengers for the rest of the journey.

Some further services will terminate at Trafalgar and will be by bus.

Service involved: 18.22 from Warragul.
