POLICE are investigating the theft of a trailer from a Longwarry address and four mag wheels from a Warragul front yard by two people in a ute on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Warragul Police said a tall man in his late 30s with tanned complexion and wearing a black jumper and tracksuit pants had been seen taking the wheels from a Church Street address with another individual, described as Caucasian, “skinny” and with short black hair.

The pair reportedly loaded the wheels into a Holden Commodore ute painted with grey undercoat which was then driven in an erratic fashion to Longwarry. The spokesperson said the pair then stole a freshly painted blue motorbike trailer from a Princes Avenue address.
