New VicRoads web app to inform motorists of road closures

VicRoads has recently unveiled a web application for tracking information about road closures on its website.

The map-based application shows Traffic Alerts, Road Closures and Detours across Victoria, with details on their closures.

Minister for Roads Terry Mulder said that the new feature will be “Victoria’s official source for road closure information during emergencies.”

Natural disasters have caused many road closures across the state over the past 12 months, closing almost 400 roads across Victoria.
