ARTISTS have been invited to apply for grants of up to $30,000 from the federal government to develop professional skills.

McMillan MP Russell Broadbent said in a media release the funding, provided in the form of five Regional Artist Development Fellowships, was a great chance for artists to improve on skills.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for regional artists to work in other regions, cities or even overseas alongside experienced artists and I encourage local artists and arts workers to consider applying,” Mr Broadbent said.
The fellowships include an international creative development fellowship for artists to gain experience outside of Australia, an indigenous creative development fellowship, a young artist creative development fellowship for regional artists aged between 18 and 26, an institutional fellowship and an indigenous institutional fellowship.
