dislike the headline. but it is great to see so many of the works held by baw baw shire. many from the former buln buln and narracan council on show. only a few are displayed in the shire building at traf my main contact point with the shire so good to see thoae normally home at warragul and drouin. when i attended the opening i enjoyed reading the plauques on the frames many were gifts from staff marking long service or groups like rotary. i like the landscape works showing our towns and how much they have grown or places like walhalla and how little its changed over time

I dislike the headline too! Sounds like a ‘secret hoard’. But the exhibition – and the collection is really important to our citizens. It shows a historical record of the development of our Shire and how it has changed physically and culturally. The creative arts are important economically to Baw Baw Shire so every showcase of the skills of artists are valuable. Well done to the Arts Centre for holding this excellent show.
