Bike stolen from Sutton Street back yard

POLICE are continuing to search for a bike stolen from the back yard of a Sutton Street house early last month.

A police spokesperson said unknown offenders took the bike after accessing the yard via a side gate between 10pm Monday 6 December and 6pm Tuesday 7 December.

The bike was not visible from the road or driveway and no other items were stolen.

The purple Academy Aspire BMX bike, valued at $400, was described by the spokesperson as “distinctive” for its colour, clear salt grips, purple bullet valve caps and no brakes.
