Subway Trafalgar was broken into at about 2.45am on Sunday morning after the front door was forced open.

Warragul Police Senior Sergeant John Brookes OAM told The Warragul Citizen unknown offenders entered the store and went to the till area near the front door of the premises.

Some items in that area were moved but nothing has been reported stolen.

Sgt Brookes said the break-in may be linked to a male seen in another town.

“It may be linked to a male, no further description, seen in another town around 3.30am with a crow bar or similar object,” Sgt Brookes said.

“Any information about a vehicle or description [should be reported] to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
