Bus replacements as trains struggle after storm

BUS replacements and service changes will continue to affect Gippsland rail commuters in the aftermath of this morning’s storm.

A number of services travelling both to and from Melbourne have been replaced by buses.

Trains were delayed after storm activity in the Melbourne metropolitan area.

Passengers have been told to expect delays.

The delays are another frustration for Gippsland line commuters. Services between Moe and Traralgon were suspended until further notice on Friday to allow urgent safety works to be carried out on the Morwell Bridge.
