A CAR was stolen from the driveway of a Trafalgar home on Wednesday while the owner ducked inside to retrieve a purse.

Update (8am 15/1/13): The owner has informed The Warragul Citizen the car was found in Nilma yesterday.

The owner left the silver 2003 Mini Cooper S, registration “BECC”, with the engine running while she went inside her Princes Highway home to collect her purse at about 9.40pm.

The car had disappeared when the owner returned approximately two minutes later.

The owner did not see anyone around the house before the car was stolen and lives next to a paddock.

Police have released an image of a similar vehicle. (Below.)
