Charity box raided in Yarragon theft

THIEVES targeted a charity box after breaking into a Yarragon veterinary clinic last week, stealing nothing but the donations.

Police told The Warragul Citizen unknown offenders forced open a window of a new veterinary clinic before stealing $50 from a charity box and escaping through a back door.

The theft occurred between 5pm Wednesday and 10am Friday at 75 Princes Highway.

Police have no suspects and are appealing to anyone with information on the theft to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
