Cops calling for Warragul cash claimant

WARRAGUL Police are seeking the owner of “a considerable amount of cash” found on a footpath last week.

A police spokesperson said an owner would have to explain how the money ended up on the footpath.

“An owner is sought to identify the amount and circumstances of loss,” the spokesperson said.

The cash was found on Wednesday 31 July.

Anyone wanting to claim the cash can contact Warragul Police on 5622 7111.
