A collision on the Princes Highway at Darnum yesterday saw five people, including a three-month-old, admitted to hospital.

“Officers have been told a white Ford sedan was travelling west along the Princes Highway when the driver allegedly attempted to make a U-turn east of the Darnum overpass about 1.25pm,” police spokesperson Lauren Kells said in a media release.

“The vehicle is believed to have then struck a wire barrier, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and travel into oncoming-eastbound traffic and collide with another car.
