Nobody was hurt in the accident, but Trafalgar police Leading Senior Constable Peter Ferguson said the car narrowly missed two trees.

“It looks like she lost control of the car, ran off the road and just missed two trees by inches,” Sen-Constable Ferguson said.

“As a driver and especially a parent, you have a responsibility to look after anyone in your car,

The first consideration should be the child. What risks is the child facing with this irresponsible “parent” not only in the car, but also at home and in other areas of her life. Something needs to be done to protect this precious little life before something worse happens.

It never ceases to amaze me just how irresponsible and stupid some individuals are.
To drive a car whilst intoxicated is disgraceful enough.
But to have a child as a passenger in the car as well is just totally insane.
Throw away her car keys permanently I say.
