The new morning service, which will depart from Flinders Street at 7.42am, will stop at all non-metropolitan stations before reaching Warragul at 9.09am: 24 minutes after the morning Bairnsdale express service.

Only minor alterations have been made to other Traralgon-bound services.

There are no additional Melbourne-bound services as a result of the new morning train.

Major Melbourne-bound changes

Major changes have been made to the weekday Melbourne-bound timetable, with the earliest train now departing Warragul at 5.14am instead of 5.30am.

  1. Peter Smith says:

What do they do with this train once it reaches Traralgon? Are they storing them there until they have a full set and then trading them in ona box of tissues?
