Information sought on fatal motorcycle crash in Warragul

POLICE are seeking information on a fatal motorcycle crash in Warragul last night.

A spokesperson said a motorcyclist lost control of their vehicle while approaching a road work zone, came off their bike and collided with temporary fencing.

The man was found by a passerby who called emergency services at around midnight.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, but the exact time of the crash is not known.

Anyone with information on the crash has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000 or at crimestoppersvic.com.au.

The incident brought the state’s provisional road toll for for 2015 to 25, the same number as the 2014 toll at the same time last year.
