AN Apple iPad was stolen from a briefcase in a ute parked at the United Service Station in Trafalgar earlier this month while the driver paid for fuel.
Police told The Warragul Citizen the device, valued at $800, went missing from a blue Mitsubishi Triton ute between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Friday October 12.

The theft was reported to local authorities on Tuesday.
The owner of the iPad, a 35-year-old Mount Eliza man, told police he has received notice from Apple the device had been reset and is being used by another person.
Police have requested Apple provide any details on who is using the device, however circumstantial evidence is still required.
