A 54-year-old Labertouche man has died after losing control of his motorcycle at Shady Creek this morning.

The man was riding east along Old Sale Road with a group of other motorcyclists at the time.

Police believe he came off his bike as he rode around a bend just before 9.30am.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

The crash brings Victoria’s provisional road toll to 234, 11 more than this time last year.
