Man arrested after young boys approached in Warragul

A WARRAGUL man has been bailed after police interviewed him about young boys being approached by a suspicious person in Warragul’s Eastern Park area.

The 52-year-old was interviewed and bailed yesterday after being arrested but police are seeking further information from the public about the the incident.

A police spokesperson said information about a “suspect male approaching young boys in the Eastern Park area of Warragul” was being sought.

The arrest comes after a number of incidents near Eastern Park involving a woman beckoning young boys to her car before driving off.

Police said the woman was aged between 30 and 40, was possibly wearing a “boofy” blonde wig and “cheetah spot” tee shirt and was driving a dark blue mid-1990s four-wheel drive with a silver strip down the side.
