Missing Mirboo North man found safe

MISSING Mirboo North man Heath Bridges has been found safe having disappeared after boarding a city-bound train in Morwell yesterday.

Mr Bridges was found in Werribee yesterday.

Police have thanked the public for their assistance in finding him.

The photo of Mirboo North man Heath Bridges released by police.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing 43-year-old man with a disability.

Heath Bridges from Mirboo North was last seen this morning when he boarded a Melbourne-bound train from Morwell Railway Station at 10.25am.

Police and family members are concerned for Heath’s welfare as he suffers from a medical condition which requires medication twice a day.

Heath is described as Caucasian  around 180cm tall, medium build with brown eyes and a mole on his left cheek.

He was last seen wearing a red and black polar fleece jumper, green t-shirt, navy blue pants and black and silver shoes.

Police believe Heath may have some difficulty communicating with the public.

Investigators have released an image of Heath and have asked that members of the public keep a lookout for him.

Anyone who sees Heath is urged to call triple zero (000) or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.crimestoppers.com.au
