Missing Traralgon man found

A TRARALGON man who police believed could have been in Walhalla has been found safe and well.

A Victoria Police media release released at 10.15pm tonight advised Russell Roberts, 29, was found in Traralgon at around 8pm.

Investigators have thanked the public and the media for their assistance in finding Mr Roberts.

POLICE believe a missing Traralgon man could be in the Walhalla area.

Russell Roberts, 49, last spoke to family members on November 21 and has a medical condition that requires regular monitoring.

Police believe he may have travelled to the Walhalla area, Buchan or Inverloch.

Mr Roberts is believed to be driving a white 1989 EA Ford Falcon sedan with a sun visor across the top of the windscreen, registration YQW 491.

He is described as being Caucasian, 178cm tall, heavy build, short grey hair worn combed back and glasses.

Police believe he returned to his Traralgon residence on November 24 to collect personal belongings.

A photo of Mr Roberts has been released by police.

Police urge anyone who has information on his whereabouts to contact triple zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
