Mobile service interruptions were reported in Warragul, Drouin, Longwarry and Trafalgar.

An Optus spokesperson told The Warragul Citizen parts of the network have been restored using generators.

“The storms have impacted the supply of commercial power to parts of the Optus network,” the spokesperson said.

“Our network engineers have installed back-up generators to some of the affected areas, and are continuing to deploy back-up power to restore affected services until full resumption of commercial power.
