Pakenham motorcyclist dies following Rawson crash

VICTORIA POLICE HAVE announced a Pakenham man involved in a motorcycle crash in Rawson last month has died.

The crash occurred at around 2.30am on Saturday July 28 on the Thompson Dam Access Road.


It is believed the 27-year-old struck a guard rail after losing control of his motorcycle.

He was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital following the incident where he died on Friday.

The death is the first road fatality in the Baw Baw Police Service Area for 2012, and brings Victoria’s provisional road toll to 168 deaths.

Police are preparing a report for the Coroner.
