THE Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for parts of West Gippsland today.
UPDATE (4.38pm): The warning has been cancelled.A low pressure trough from western Victoria will move across eastern forecast districts this afternoon.

Winds are expected to average between 50 and 60 kilometres per hour and peak at up to 100 kilometres per hour.
An updated warning will be issued at 11.00am today.
The warning also applies to the North Central, North East, Central, South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts.
The State Emergency Service advises people move their vehicles under cover or away from trees, secure loose items outdoors and to keep clear of fallen power lines.
