Emergency services and SP Ausnet responding to Warragul storm damage

Emergency services and SP Ausnet are responding to flooding, fallen trees and power outages as Warragul comes under attack from a severe thunderstorm.
Police are on the scene at Brandy Creek road, where a fallen tree blocked the outbound lane and standing water covers the inbound lane near the Freedom service station.

Electricity supplier SP Ausnet has told customers there have been a number of power outages in the Warragul area.
The company’s incident report service has been inundated with calls as the state bears the brunt of a storm system.
