Intersection and route modifications in Warragul and Drouin are being considered by VicRoads, and the state government wants you to have your say.
A body of community groups, emergency services, freight companies, and local businesses has already been established to get stakeholder information, and two pop-up feedback sessions will soon be held to gauge the wider community’s views.
“We want the people who use the roads in Warragul and Drouin every day to have their say on making them better,” Labor member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing said in a media release.

“This road improvement study will help us understand what these communities need in the future.”
As well as receiving community feedback, the research project will include studies of traffic, the environment, cultural heritage, and the local economy.
So what do you do if you live in, work in, or visit Warragul and Drouin and want to have your say?
The VicRoads project website has an interactive map on which you can plot out your areas of concern or praise. As well as making your own points, you can use the map to read and contribute to other people’s responses.
