Trafalgar man charged following Traralgon assault

A TRAFALGAR MAN has been charged following an assault in Traralgon last night which left a 20-year-old man in a Melbourne hospital with serious facial, head and neck injuries.

Investigators have been told the assault occurred on the dance floor of a bar in Kay Street at around 12.30am.

The 21-year-old man was charged this morning and has been bailed to face the Latrobe Magistrates’ Court on August 16.

Charges include intentionally cause serious injury and recklessly cause serious injury.

The victim was transferred from Latrobe Regional Hosptital to Melbourne’s The Alfred hospital with non life-threatening injuries for further treatment.
