The clinic, which started in Warragul in 2013 and has recently expanded into the Latrobe Valley, was named Best Aesthetic Practice in Victoria, as well as Best Aesthetic Practice Team in Australia/NZ.

MyFaceMyBody is an online publication which promotes the “aesthetics industry,” a field covering both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Their awards are held in four regions across the world – China, Britain, the US, and Australasia.

GCLC received their award at an event in Sydney last month.

“We absolutely love being able to represent Gippsland on the national stage, and to bring a level of care to our clients that cannot be found anywhere else in Australia,” GCLC owner and clinical director Anita Turner said in a media release.

“When we first opened Gippsland Cosmetic Laser Clinic in Warragul it was to provide a safe, trusted and ethical service for people in an unregulated and often exploitative industry.

“In less than five years that commitment to high clinical and ethical standards is being recognised, and influencing changes within the industry.”
