WARRAGUL North Primary School’s Preps, Grade Ones and Grade Twos performed songs and told stories at their Junior School Concert last night.
Concert coordinator Karen Dellar told The Warragul Citizen students performed songs and told stories based on their learning.

“There were a variety of performances, ranging from children learning about ants and expressing what they knew about ants and how they operate in colonies to our studying [of weekly] activities,” Ms Dellar said.
“One class did (The Beatles’) When I’m Sixty-Four and had people dressed up in old clothes and did an act about old age.
“[They] related the song to a book about old age called My Granny, and combined them to have an act about that.”
The school’s four Prep classes grouped together a performed a variety of British songs from the 1950s to the 2000s.

Other performances focused on the school’s six “learning keys” and the school’s song, Count Us In.
Students performed twice in the night, with the hour-long performances starting at 6pm and 8pm.
“Because the auditorium holds 500 people and we’ve got quite a few families here… we sell each family more tickets [and] run the same concert twice,” Ms Dellar said.
“All of the children behaved and performed very well and it was an excellent team effort on the part of the children and the staff.”
The Years Three to Six students put on a show in August.
