The Warragul Citizen is expanding and will be returning to print next month with a new vision of what a local paper can be.

While TWC covers all of Baw Baw online, the new print editions will see the paper become the Warragul & Baw Baw Citizen to emphasise that breadth of coverage.

The new 4,000-run full-colour monthly tabloid paper will be distributed in Warragul, Drouin, Yarragon, Longwarry, Trafalgar and Neerim South through major and minor retailers as well as letterboxing.

The future of print lies in bringing news, analysis and society to those who want it for free. The Warragul & Baw Baw Citizen will combine well-researched content, breaking news, engaging features and excellent design to give the region a strong new voice.

Breaking news will still be published regularly online while the print edition focuses on exploring new stories and content.

Advertisers can get involved with an excellent colour rate of $4.40 per column centimetre. Discounted online advertising is also available to print edition advertisers. Contact editor@warragulcitizen.com now for details.

Your return to print is very welcome. I like to be able to read my newspaper with my feet up and a cuppa – slows me down which is good because life goes too fast.
