Warragul CFA’s 2017 open day will be HUGE

Warragul Fire Brigade’s open day is set to be huge, with demos, free food and coffee, a new tanker, and more!

Saturday’s event will take place from 10am to 2pm at the Warragul Fire Station.

As well as the station and trucks being on display, visitors will be able to get info on preparing for the summer, volunteering, and more.

Ambulance Victoria will also be on site providing CPR demonstrations.

Victoria Police will join the event too, providing home security and recruitment advice,

Warragul SES will be there too with displays, recruitment details, and kids’ activities.

And finally, Rapid Relief Team will be providing food and coffee for free.

Eastern Victoria MP Harriet Shing is scheduled to pay a visit too, officially handing over the keys for the station’s new heavy tanker at around midday.

Update – 12:45, 17 Nov 2017: Ms Shing has just advised she is no longer able to attend the event. But the new heavy tanker will still be there!
