Baw Baw police have asked those trying watch the Seaview bushfire to stay away.

Tonight’s fire has seen Watch and Act messages issued for Ellinbank, Warragul South, Yarragon South, Cloverlea, Seaview, Tetoora Road, Allambee, and Torwood.

Up-to-date information on the fires can be found at emergency.vic.gov.au.

Local cops have taken to social media to ask would-be onlookers to stay at home.

“There are a large amount of spectators on surrounding roads,” a spokesperson said.

“Please stay away from the area so as not to impede emergency services and residents trying to leave.”
